Preface
I have been working on Alice Law since 2001—for twenty-five years. During this time, I have published various versions of Alice Law, sometimes as a physics program and sometimes as a book. This work is the 10th version of Alice Law that I have prepared in book form. My aim is for this book to be my final and most comprehensive work on Alice Law: one that encompasses everything I have published to date and presents the subjects in a more fluent and organized manner.
My work on Alice Law has come a long and arduous way to reach the present day. Throughout this process, my understanding of Alice Law deepened and was purged of its errors, while the way I explained it was continually renewed. It was not Alice that changed; what changed was my understanding of her and the way I expressed it. At the point I have reached today, Alice Law stands as a vast umbrella encompassing both Electromagnetic Theory and the Theory of Relativity.
There is something I must state clearly here: Alice Law is not an idea that occurred to me and was born in 2001. I encountered Alice by chance. At first, I thought that I was the person researching and developing Alice, but in time I realized that Alice was actually educating me. She showed me where to look, confronted me with my mistakes, turned me back when I took the wrong paths, and patiently prepared me until I was capable of understanding her. Alice is a reality that has existed since the day the universe was born and is as old as the universe itself. Therefore, I am not the creator of Alice Law; I am her student, witness, and narrator.
What does Alice Law do? Let me explain. Alice Law corrects two major errors in physical theory, thereby bringing about immense changes in it. Because these corrections concern concepts that form the backbone of physical theory, they naturally entail extremely disruptive consequences. It would not be far wrong to compare the situation we face to a gigantic tsunami engulfing the entire physics community.
Of course, such an unavoidable change will be profoundly painful and distressing for everyone. Imagine that throughout your professional life you have written dozens of books and prepared countless lecture notes, only for them suddenly to become invalid. You are forced to change your entire view of physics. You discover that certain subjects you thought you knew, or believed were common knowledge, are in fact not known at all.
I am not joking at all. Alice knows very well how these inherited errors arose, how they grew, how they took root in people’s minds, how they protected themselves within the academic establishment, and how they were passed down from generation to generation. She taught me all of this. She prepared me not only to explain her, but also to struggle against the system of thought that opposes her.
Imagine a young physics student. The student reads Alice Law and finds its arguments convincing. Yet the student cannot use what has been learned here in classes, examinations, or academic work. Naturally, the student goes to the professor and asks about it. But the professor, too, has built a career on the theoretical knowledge that Alice opposes. Instead of examining Alice Law, the professor may scold the student or say that Alice Law is nothing but nonsense.
Another scenario is also possible: the professor becomes curious and reads Alice Law. But reading it does not mean that the professor will be able to understand it. The criterion here is not holding a higher academic position or a grander title. The criterion is the ability to think freely, question inherited assumptions, and overcome the barriers embedded in one’s thinking. To understand Alice, the professor must first overcome these inherited barriers that have taken root in the mind.
Suppose the professor succeeds and understands what Alice is saying. This time, the professor is in danger. To whom can these insights be explained, and with whom can they be shared? The moment the professor openly defends Alice, there is a risk of becoming persona non grata within the physics community and jeopardizing an academic career. Thus, not only the student but also the professor who sees the truth remains under the pressure of the same system of thought.
The young student is crushed in this situation. The student is not on equal footing with the professor, but stands before an authority who can affect grades, a thesis, and an academic future. The choice is no longer scientific but existential: either pursue the questions that reason accepts and put a career at risk, or convince oneself that Alice is wrong and conform to the system. When the student retreats, the theoretical disease gains another generation.
For a long time, I considered the tone in which I should write this book. The subject is already demanding enough. For that reason, I do not want to use a tedious and difficult scientific language that exhausts the reader even further. I want to write a book that readers will enjoy—a book that draws them in and, from time to time, makes them laugh, surprises them, and lifts their spirits.
But in doing so, I will not pull my punches. I have waited a long time, shown great patience, and worked very hard. I now want to see Alice Law take root, be discussed, and develop within the physics community. I will not explain Alice Law in a weak, timid, and apologetic voice merely to avoid making anyone uncomfortable. However harsh the subject and however great its consequences, I will set them out exactly as they are.
My period of education has now come to an end. Alice has declared war not on people themselves, but on the false information embedded in their thinking, on the theoretical structure that protects those falsehoods, and on the transmission of errors to new generations. The weapons of this war are propositions, mathematics, geometry, animations, experiments, and the facts of physics themselves. Alice will not retreat or compromise; she will expose and eliminate, one by one, the errors concealed by the theoretical structure confronting her.
From now on, my duty is to write whatever Alice shows, go wherever she points, and defend what she says regardless of the title or authority that stands before me. Because Alice is my boss. I am not her creator; I am the person she has educated and commissioned—her devoted fighter.
Alice Law Version 10 is the written declaration that a law as old as the universe has now begun to speak in its own name and has declared war on the errors in physical theory.
